With a surprise result, a rare Porsche 959 Prototype sold at the Barrett Jackson Auction for a mere $400K. This 959 was just one of two running prototypes and one of only four survivors. When the gavel finally fell, bidding had reached $400,000 plus a 10-percent buyer’s premium. This 959 ended up at $440K which was much lower than most enthusiasts anticipated.
