The New York Metro PCA held their annual Concours d’ Elegance at the Old Westbury Gardens.

This weekend the NY Metro PCA held its annual Concours d’ Elegance and Porsche show on the grounds of the beautiful Old Westbury Gardens. Old Westbury Gardens, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is the former home of John S. Phipps, his wife, Margarita Grace Phipps and their four children.  Completed in 1906 by the English designer, George A. Crawley, the magnificent Charles II-style mansion is nestled amid 200 acres of formal gardens, landscaped grounds, woodlands, ponds and lakes.  Westbury House is furnished with fine English antiques and decorative arts from the more than fifty years of the family’s residence. The place is remarkable and extremely well kept.

The turn-out was fantastic and included many 911′s, 356′s, 944′s and 928′s. Each year the region holds its event here and it’s a wonderful venue for the club. This year I had the opportunity to chat with numerous enthusiasts including  Will Branston who had his 1966 Porsche 911 on display.

Lots of beautiful cars and beautiful weather! It was a great event for all that participated! We have posted over 50+ photos of the event to our Facebook page - head over there and take a look!
